After years of graphite drawings, pastels have become my medium of choice. By using archival papers and modern pastels, my paintings now have a greater variety of layered colors, projecting better depth and mood.
Pastel workshops I have taken include those by Kathleen Shallock, Deborah Secor, Carol Ast, Fred Miller, Frank Federico, Lorenzo Chavez, Bud Edmondson, Glenna Hartmann and Doug Dawson.
